This is not a 3D printed part. Constricta is injection moulded from glass filled nylon that is chemical and UV resistant for harsh jobsite use. After moulding, the part is water treated to improve strength and flexibility, so it can handle knocks without becoming brittle.
It is backed by our Good Design Award™ winning design and registered design protection, making it a serious long term tool for your kit.
Care: Simply wait for any glue to dry on the Constricta, then peel it off. Glue and primer will not melt or affect the material.

Constricta Multi Pot Grip was created by two Australian plumbers after years of hunting for a glue and primer holder that would speed up work, improve safety, and reduce spills when working with PVC in trenches and on ladders. After one too many glue spills, they decided to build their own.

The Constricta Multi Pot Grip is an adjustable PVC glue and primer holder designed to securely hold common PVC cement and primer tins while you work, helping tradies work faster, safer, and helping reduce spills.

Duct taping your solvents together is illegal in some states because it can cover the safety labels. In an emergency, if someone spills solvent on themselves, responders need to quickly identify the substance from the label. That is why Constricta has an open design, so all safety labels stay visible and easy to read.

The hook handle works well on battens, reo bar, tool belts, storage spots in the ute or van, and ladders. It will hang on most ladders, but we recommend Werner, Louisville Ladder, Little Giant, Gorilla Ladders, Bailey, and Indalex, or any ladder with a plastic top platform that has tool slots, because Constricta is designed to hook into those slots.
The fastening channel on the handle lets you slide it over screws and bolts. If there is nothing nearby to hang it from, you can drive a temporary screw into your work area and hang it off that.

No. Constricta is made from chemical resistant glass filled nylon, so PVC glue and primer will not melt or damage it. If glue gets on the holder, let it dry, then peel it off.

GEAR THAT GOES WITH THE CONSTRICTA
I have seen ads for the Constricta for a while, finally decided to give it a shot. It is a game changer. Gone are the taped cans that didn’t sit flat and were easy to knock over. It hangs on all my ladders, carts, buckets, etc. The built in tape slot is nice when doing underground piping—but I wish it was on the opposite side of the hook. With a tape measure clipped on, you can’t use the hook. If you can hook it to something—the tape can’t be removed. I saw they were prototyping an accessory for the hook which allows it to clip to 2” lumber, absolutely will be purchasing once it is released. I would love to see something similar with a belt clip. Currently hooking it to one of my pouches, but it hangs too low for me to reach and swings around a bit more than I am comfortable with (purple primer sloshing). Solid product and I am happy with the purchase. Wish I would have bought sooner!
I’ve purchased 6 of these so far and I guarantee I’ll be purchasing more. If you’re a plumber/HVAC tech or tradesman who uses PVC glue/primer regularly then this is a must have. How many times have you kicked over a can of glue and made a mess or knocked it over realizing that was the last of the primer you had on the truck. Too many times to count right? Well say no more to kicking over your PVC glue and primer. We’ve been using these for a few years now and they are one of the best things I’ve purchased for me and my guys. They’re indestructible and hold up to harsh weather conditions and everyday abuse from plumbers like you and I. Basically if you’re not using the constricta Multip Pot Grip, you’re a hack.
