Every Constricta Multi Pot Grip is covered by a 12 month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We build the Constricta from glass filled nylon to handle real job site conditions, and if yours fails because of a fault in materials or workmanship, we will replace it and ship the replacement free of charge.
1Who is covered
This warranty covers the original purchaser of a new Constricta bought from rebends.com or from an authorized Rebend retailer or distributor, for 12 months from the date of purchase. Keep your order confirmation or store receipt, as proof of purchase is required for every claim. This warranty is not transferable and does not apply to products bought second hand or from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized marketplace listings.
2What is covered
We cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal trade use. That includes cracking, splitting or breakage of the frame, handle, legs or clips that is not caused by impact or misuse, molding faults present from new, and failure of the product to perform its basic function of holding compatible cans despite correct use. If we confirm a defect, we will replace the unit free of charge, including shipping. If a replacement is not available, we may refund the purchase price instead. Replacement or refund is the sole remedy under this warranty.
3About the tension legs
The Constricta's tension legs are engineered to flex. They spread to grip different can sizes and rely on the natural spring of the material to hold containers secure. With prolonged use, particularly with larger quart size cans left in place for extended periods, the legs may sit at a wider diameter. This is a normal characteristic of the material, not a defect. In most cases the legs recover their original shape if the unit is left empty for a few hours. Gradual widening or reduced grip tension over time is wear and is not covered by this warranty. A leg that cracks or snaps under normal use is a different matter and is covered.
4What is not covered
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including surface scratching, discoloration and gradual loss of leg tension as described above. It does not cover damage from accident, impact or crushing, such as a unit dropped from height, knocked from a ladder, stepped on or run over by vehicles or equipment. It does not cover misuse, including use with containers outside the supported size range, use as a step, support or anchor point, or any use other than holding cans as intended. It also does not cover units that have been modified, repaired with adhesives or hardware, or exposed to conditions beyond normal trade use, such as open flame or prolonged extreme heat. Solvent contact from PVC cement and primer in normal use is expected and does not void this warranty.
5How to make a claim
Email admin@rebends.com with your proof of purchase, a short description of the issue, and clear photos of the product showing the fault. We respond to every claim within 2 business days. If the fault is covered, we ship a replacement at no cost to you. We may ask you to return the faulty unit or to confirm it has been disposed of before the replacement ships.
6If you bought from a store
You can claim directly with us regardless of which authorized retailer you bought from. There is no need to go back to the store, just include your store receipt with your claim.
7Wholesale and distributor stock
For wholesale accounts, units that arrive damaged or defective are handled under our Wholesale Terms rather than this warranty. Report any problems with a shipment within 5 business days of delivery and we will replace affected units on your next order or sooner. Your customers claim their 12 month warranty directly with us as described above.
8Your legal rights
This is a limited warranty. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to 12 months from the date of purchase. Rebend Industries, LLC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this product, including damage to cans, contents, tools or work. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
